Classic pattern library
Click a pattern to load it as the call — great for focused practice of a specific rhythmic cell.
How it works
The three modes
Sight-read — notation stays visible. Hear the count-in, then tap the written rhythm in the response window. Practice reading straight off the page.
Ear echo — notation is hidden during the call. Listen, tap it back, and the notation is revealed afterwards to check.
Dictation — listen to the call and reconstruct it from the note/rest palette. Learn to write rhythm, not just read it.
Input
Tapping: click the pad, press Space, or any note on a MIDI keyboard (great for a drum pad).
Enter — play · N — new pattern.
The drummer format
The same rhythm on a single-line staff (percussion clef), as drummers read it — with the counting syllables underneath (1 e & a).
Choose "Staff + drums" in the display-style setting to see both forms side by side.
